Featured Posts Plugin
When working on custom WordPress themes, we always in one project or another, have the need to allow the en-client to feature posts. We developed the plugin Featured Posts and Custom Posts WordPress Plugin and are offering it to download for free. It is available for download here or at the WordPress plugins directory.
What it does
This plugin adds a new column in posts and custom posts lists for the user to click on a star that features a post. When clicked we save a custom filed called _jsFeaturedPost. Which can be used for custom queries, widgets, etc.
What it doesn’t do
It dose not add to the installed theme and dose not add custom templates. This is to be done by developer who wishes to install the plugin.
